Heel Pain

Heel pain can happen for a variety of reasons. It could be something as simple as a bruised bone from an injury, or it could mean something a bit more serious, like plantar fasciitis.

This is a term commonly used to refer to heel pain or arch pain that is related to inflammation at the bottom of the foot.

Helping you maintain healthy feet

Heel spurs are another reason for heel pain. This is a syndrome that can be treated successfully with conservative measures, such as over the counter inflammation medication. It is worth coming to our office to ensure that is the problem, though.

You will receive prompt attention

If you notice that you have pain in your heel that doesn’t seem to be caused from any of these issues, it could mean that you have overpronation. This could be happening if you have an exaggerated motion when you walk. This flattens the foot, and puts added tension on the plantar fascia, which then causes inflammation.
